Earth Day

We have come long way
but stayed away
from the real nature
our forefathers enjoyed and assued

there was enough care
and no one dared
to pollute the rivers
and poisoned air

earth has tolerated enough
we were very rough
in meting out the treatment
it was really sad moment

what have we to do for mother earth?
not only to think in real earnest
but to deliver the best service
for the protection with future promises

we shall preserve  an honor
make her look as pure as gold
not doing any thing that violates her beauty
and take vow to protect and bow down before an almighty
