river
© Bozena Helena Mazur-Nowak

it flows out from the source of life
lazily and calmly - a shallow stream
that can change in a moment into a rapid brook
flowing over and around obstacles
despite cutting corners, becoming wider,
it still flows ahead.
sometimes breaking its banks
and flooding into the meadows of everyday life.
Searching for the escape it creates new channels
giving rise to new rivers
that trickle into a valley of golden autumn
flowing lazily, slowly meandering, slowly
heading for the sea of disappearance

our life
