FEELINGS

Cherish the warm breeze that blows in the heart
It was a love tale played in full part
The fun and the frolic notwithstanding
A love built on mutual understanding

The treasure trove of fun tumbled out
You laughed merrily at my angry pout
The yearnings were meant to be felt at ease
O, what a bliss to be at peace

The moonlit garden bathed in silvery streaks
As the crescent moon winked and peeped
The silent night beneath the studded sky
It was a feeling of undisguised high

Was it really a love so coy and true
Or was it a mingling of emotions old and new
How could the night stretch out so long
Lost in enchantment we never heard the distant gong

The tube roses bathed us in fragrant hues
The owl hooted merrily and flew off on cue
The countless stars took pride in our love
It was feelings galore, and a love far and above
