Poem Yatti Sadeli
THE VEIL OF THE HORIZON
Look! It's getting dark. The dark horizon isn't a threat. But a blanket for souls who know how to surrender.
The sky turns red with blood. The night that's about to descend takes me to the throne of the moon and towards the stars, wandering around the world toward the veil of secret magic.
I'm trapped in a narrow silence. Silence hangs between breath and time. Memories come like shadows dancing on the gloomy curtain of light.
Let me be a cloud heavy with rain, falling on the barren plains that await.
I whisper upward until the starlight softens.
The night gathers me and her in hues of gold and silver, Covered by the beautiful cityscape.
And between her and me, there's a charm that makes me close my eyes for a moment. Unconsciously, I smile. Her beauty always stirs my heart. Like the darkness and blackness filled with twinkling stars at night.
One day, it will stop for a moment so the stars can continue to shine and I can be with her forever. But I don't think that's possible, because she's already in another realm that can't be disturbed. And I can only meet her in my dreams.
