William s. peters ,sr.
Small Wonders
.
Along the 'Way'
There are charitable treasures
That can't be measured

The smiles,
The blossoming flowers
And fruit trees
And weeds,
Are all seeds of wonder
Just as every breath,
Every heartbeat,
Every blink of the eye,
Every thought

Oft times
We walk by,
Journey on
Through valleys of
Conscious-less presence,
Not really being
Here nor there,
Or anywhere
In particular
Missing a multitude
Of small wonders
