LJUBAV JE JAČA OD SVEGA

Šaljem ovom svijetu miris ljubavi,

tračak svjetlosti koji dolazi iz duše,

vjeru u bolje sutra,

i želju da se izgrade mostovi mira koji ratovi ne mogu da sruše.

Ljubav je jača od svake lažne moći,

od svakog tamom prekrivenog zla,

ne može nju pobijediti

ni stotine besmislenih ratova.

Pogledajte, ljudi, jedni druge,

zar nisu ljepše oči bez suza i tuge,

oči u kojima blista ljubav prema životu,

one koje pronalaze ljepotu.

Umjesto da gazite jedni preko drugih,

volite se i uklonite nemire,

duše neka se s dušama spajaju,

srca neka se međusobno pomire.

Ljubav je jača i nadmoćnija od zla,

samo je ona kreator boljeg svijeta,

zato ne dajte joj da uvene,

pustite je neka cvjeta.

Sklapajte prijateljstva, o ljubavi govorite,

nečistih misli i djela uvijek se klonite,

gradite mostove dobrote,

i ne dirajte tuđe živote.

Na ovom svijetu ima mjesta za sve,

kad ćete više to da shvatite,

da ratovi zaklanjaju sve što vrijedi,

ali ne mogu spriječiti ljubav da pobijedi.

LOVE IS STRONGER THAN ANYTHING

I send the world the scent of love today,

A light that from the soul begins to gleam,

A faith that tomorrow holds a brighter way,

To build peace-bridges war can never seam.

Love holds more power than any false domain,

Stronger than evil wrapped in deepest night,

And not a hundred wars, absurd and vain,

Can ever hope to conquer its pure light.

Look at each other, people, look and see,

Aren't eyes far fairer when no tear-drops start?

Eyes shining with a love for what might be,

That find true beauty in the human heart.

Instead of stepping over one another,

Love one another, let all turmoil cease;

Let soul join soul, as brother turns to brother,

And let all hearts reconcile in peace.

For love is stronger, ruling over night,

The only creator of a world made new,

So do not let it wither out of sight,

Allow its blossoms to break brightly through.

Form friendships, let your speech of love be clear,

Steer clean of thoughts and deeds that taint the mind,

Build bridges out of kindness far and near,

And leave the lives of other men behind.

There is enough room here for all to stay,

When will you learn this truth that shines above?

That wars may hide what's precious on the way,

Yet nothing stops the victory of love.
